About

Discovering purpose through travel, Global Girl Voyagers (GGV) doesn’t just believe in “girl-power”, we believe in “global-girl-power” and we put that belief into practice throughout the Dallas and Tarrant County school districts.

For the past 10-years, dating violence, suicide, and substance abuse have been on the rise among adolescents, ranging in ages (14-18). Established out of need, Global Girl Voyagers, sought to capture the attention of young girls, raise awareness and ease classroom and environmental pressures faced; through exposure to travel and mentorship.

And guess what, it works!

With accredited Mentor, Life Coaches and Theologian, Carla Lankford at the helm, we are vigorously expanding our efforts in the next 5-years. You will see us implement our G.L.O.-Up! the mentorship program, which has paired high-school students with trained mentors; too many more schools throughout Dallas/Ft. Worth and neighboring cities.

Want to see G.L.O.-Up! at your child’s school next year? Nominate your school! Email us at [email protected]

As we continue to foster our curriculum throughout communities, as well as, aim to work with more; we hope that you would join us for the ride. Whether, we’re driving and exploring the great 50-states or backpacking through Cape Town, South Africa, all that’s missing is you. Take the journey with us and let’s G.L.O.-Up! together!

Travel opens you up to a whole new world of opportunities. I never realized I was looking at life through a straw until I took my first international trip in college. It opened my eyes. I started seeing everything in life on panoramic after that experience…
